Obviously Fib. But I couldn't immediately think of a word beginning with A. Turns out that there wasn't one!

Well, obviously I know some words that begin with "A"! I even know some that begin with "A" and are financial. What I didn't know was a word beginning with "A" that meant Fibonacci series!

Actually it is possible: "Fibonacci numbers are named after the Italian mathematician Leonardo of Pisa, later known as Fibonacci. In his 1202 book Liber Abaci, Fibonacci introduced the sequence to Western European mathematics."

So if we take Abaci as a proxy...you can now have BLACK embedded there too.

Noted that there is an interest in having puzzles within puzzles. For now, two Saturday night bonuses:

1) Really chill jazz-ambient fusion I found whilst surfing today:
2) an adventure movie I'm watching now.  THFRO is one of my favorites. Wheels within wheels!

Go-ing in Style

A little tutorial on Go today.

First, the rules, ratings, tournaments, and variants:

British Go Association and American Go Association
There are others, of course; feel free to add links here.

The Movie! Alpha Go
Article: How the Computer Beat the Go Master - Scientific American March 19 2016
A tranquil board - the calm before the storm. : )
GoGame.jpg
Fun Fact:
Go is played on a 19x19 board and with a breadth of about 250 moves and a game depth of about 150 moves, that is 250^150 possible moves.

Now I am off to do some work outside before the first snow - 30% prediction of about half a foot on Wednesday and there are about 250^150 oak and maple leaves in my garden. ; )

Lol! I had a different opinion in several cases :-)

Thanks for providing the enjoyment! Even if I hate programming - even though (because?) I do it ca 80% of my time at work :-) and it's the remaining 20% which is in my job title :-))

Haha! Great. There will be more variety soon, but Find-A-Words are too easy for this crowd.

Cool - now Paul can crib from your answers. Hehe.

Only one I had thought of differently. 3. Eye of the Tiger - I was thinking of Bengal and you have Birman. But it's a Lovely cat anyway.
birman.jpg
A friend of mine had a Bengal and it was beautiful but absolutely off the wall energy. I don't know if they tend to be wild like that or if it was just this one.

Anyway, 50 words for snow soon. No local skiing yet, but winter forecast looks promising.

Adorable!  My sister got a third dog recently - after watching the puppy training process this fall, I am back tracking on getting a dog - stick with cats!

@Trackstar thank you for sharing P.Sanders' Floating Points. I hadn't heard of the man for maybe 15 years. I'm not sure why he's not more (much?) famous/acclaimed. Maybe he just can't twerk? I don't know. Anyways thanks for suggesting this piece of music.
