But she's American! Which rather limits the advice she can give. Anything involving top hats, tails, use of knives and forks, speak to me not a yank!

For the question of social life threads here, I looked back (about 10 years) and there are a few, but they feel outdated now.
tagoma, I think we talked about sailing once, a long time ago, and I don't remember how you feel about being out on the water, but if I were near Lake Geneva, I would certainly be sailing, even just small recreational boats are fun.

As for a big summer event to look forward to - the Montreux Jazz Festival is happening - July 1-16 https://www.montreuxjazzfestival.com/fr/
