Those seismologists are on shaky ground!

If one is going to stock up on emergency supplies, one's also going to want a safe outdoor storage location. It would be sad to have one's emergency supplies trapped in a collapsed or unsound house. Oh, and a tent is must have (or being prepared to sleep in a vehicle).

Indeed. I do have outdoor storage locations - one above and one underground.  And tents - a few of those.

But not too likely to have a  massive earthquake here.  Hurricanes and severe ice storms are possible though.

I think country folk still wear overalls - I will ask my sister who lives closer to that edge than I do.

Nice song, but the theme for today is natural disasters.

LOL. Well the wind is not blowing here today - just gray and rainy, which I like a lot.

In other news, I see that no one has really answered your question about chatting women up.

But clearly, Irish men are masters of the art! :D

It is quite grim here these days, with men and women eyeballing each other suspiciously in supermarkets and the like.

That's for later; everything in present tense in the beginning. Better to start with nouns. Then move to subjunctive mood.

It sounds nice in theory, but all too soon the conditional emerges.

And after that - everything is negotiated.

If...then

If...else

If and only if...

ahh - time for a warm apple cider with a little splash of something - Courvoisier I think.  :)

Of course, conditional is not always bad. And one more reason to keep learning new things in the kitchen.  :D

This evening, I have a lot going, on all burners and in the oven too.

But the new piece de resistance might be the Cauliflower Potato Soup.

Slow cooking now - will know in a few hours.
