I'm sure Fulmerspot will bring up a sound-minded frequentist baby, not some judgemental egotist expecting others to meet his imaginary conditions and treating them by his subjective priors.

...I am looking for a little spotted pony for him, its very important to find the right pony so I'm in no hurry.
Wonderful!  My parents drew the line at buying a pony for me, but were completely on board with many lessons at various barns over the years.  So, I learned a lot from a wide range of ponies -  from Stubborn Shetlands, to Cordial Connemaras, Wayward Welsh, and Airy Arabs.

The best pony ever (!) was named Gypsy - a dapple gray Welsh-Arab cross and perfect for me when I was 12-13 years old.
Smaller than this one, but same spirit and style.

And I had a horse fall on me. We were cantering, and turned fast I guess. My leg ended up under the horse. Absolutely no harm done to horse or rider. But that was extremely lucky. (Note not extremely “unlucky.”)

Well, good that both horse and rider were ok after that.  I was lucky like that once too. And good that I was wearing a helmet, as always.

But to wrap up on a positive note, a spotted pony!

fulmerspot, as I recall, you used to raise Knabstruppers. Very nice breed, not common over here, but I have seen them once in awhile.

Now I'm heading off on a long (and statistically dangerous) road trip.  But pleasant memories this morning, so thanks for that!

We call it гречка (buckwheat) - goes well with Bradwurst and Kraut.

No C++ treating everything as an object! ANSI C only. I know what I'm saying - I'm a Bayesian and OOP.

You can expect this from South Park’s Cartman in the next couple of years:

The first full sentence spoken by one of my offspring was “You kill me, you f***er, yeah?” Too much Netflix.

I subscribed to Netflix last X-mas to watch The Witcher a.k.a. Henry Cavill's buttocks, and cancelled the subscription in 2 weeks after watching the whole season twice :-D

I've somehow strayed away from the mainstream pop-culture: Game of Thrones, South Park, Crazy Birds, Black Mirror, Friends (retching), Fifty Shades of Grey, Richard Dawkins, The Simpsons...
Some time ago a neighbour invited me for a glass of wine. I said ok because now I try to be more open to human species (except banksters). I was sitting on the sofa, not very enthusiastic about drinking the white(!) substance in my glass, and he asked me if I watched Love Island - now I know it's some quasi-porn reality show, but at the time I had no idea what it was. So he asked me what I saw lately and it was Philip Glass's Orphee in English National Opera and the contemporary artist Mark Leckey's exhibition in Tate Britain, which I found slightly over the board. I just answered that I didn't have time for entertainment because of work...

Too early to tell, he's enjoying this lockdown too much right now!
