The Nobel Peace Prize always seems to end up being controversial. I can't think if a single recipient has ever been "deserving" of it - I'm sure there is one somewhere, but I can't recall.I don't care about that prize, but I don't understand criticism of the Trump-Kim meeting. It's obviously a good thing.Sorry Cuch, sorry bearish, sorry Alan, sorry tagoma, sorry others. Trump deserves Nobel peace prize. Obama didn't.
As I've stated before, if it actually leads to N. Korea's denuclearization (in Pompeo's sense: complete, verifiable, irreversible), an end to the Korean war, and talks leading to a unified democratic Korea -- I will vote for the guy (unlike last time).
IF Trump does bring about stability, then that is a good thing. I have always found when playing darts that if I throw enough, I hit the board in the end. I only hope two things:
1. That the stability in N./S. Korea is NOT overshadowed by the issues that Trump has brought elsewhere
2. I understand why S. Korea is worried. There is a large US military force protecting them at the moment. If they leave, and if N. Korea takes the initiative then it could be ugly for them. I hope that Kim sees that his country would be ultimately obliterated for taking such a step.
