Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

Sorry Cuch, sorry bearish, sorry Alan, sorry tagoma, sorry others. Trump deserves Nobel peace prize. Obama didn't.

https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-asia-44411114
I don't care about that prize, but I don't understand criticism of the Trump-Kim meeting. It's obviously a good thing.

As I've stated before, if it actually leads to N. Korea's denuclearization (in Pompeo's sense: complete, verifiable, irreversible), an end to the Korean war, and talks leading to a unified democratic Korea -- I will vote for the guy (unlike last time).
The Nobel Peace Prize always seems to end up being controversial. I can't think if a single recipient has ever been "deserving" of it - I'm sure there is one somewhere, but I can't recall.
IF Trump does bring about stability, then that is a good thing. I have always found when playing darts that if I throw enough, I hit the board in the end. I only hope two things:
1. That the stability in N./S. Korea is NOT overshadowed by the issues that Trump has brought elsewhere
2. I understand why S. Korea is worried. There is a large US military force protecting them at the moment. If they leave, and if N. Korea takes the initiative then it could be ugly for them. I hope that Kim sees that his country would be ultimately obliterated for taking such a step.

A war is always bad but only nukes are a real threat for S Korea. Koreans are just negociating.

Thank you President Trump. Opening dialogue probably is the right way to go. And thank you for handling as a true political leader the several useless and provocative questions of some "journalists" gathered in the room. Tremendous achievement. No irony intended!

Hey now baby, get into my big black car
I wanna just show you what my politics are.

I'm a political man and I practice what I preach

"His country does love him. His people, you see the fervor. They have a great fervor."
You might reasonably think that this was a description of Trump's followers by some foreign leader, focusing in particular on states like West Virginia with a hefty doze of the poorly educated. Interestingly, it is not. It is Trump's description of the happy people of North Korea, who love their dear leader.

it seems that girl power played a role in the Korean diplomacy, as Ivanka struck up a friendship with Kang Kyung-wha , the Foreign Minister of South Korea, at the Olympics

South Korea's foreign minister met with IVANKA in Washington to rekindle Olympic friendship

I'm with her!
