you think they're the same person?

Could be #6 or #12?

They mention JPM, who recently published a 100+ report on AI in finance. Has anyone read it? I had a quick look at it and if this is the state of the art, then the art is quite poor.

Neudata. Spotlight on: Railroad data

Another Wilmotter pinged this on LI.
Do you know what "alternative" data they use?
(I am not willing to give them away my email address.)

We use data sourced from a transportation alternative data provider to provide an overview of key correlations between railroad commodity volumes data and a number of economic indicators.

Why not create new email address on GMail and use that?

Creating a new mail account is boring. I guess in my instances they ask another email (valid) address, phone number, etc... (maybe I'm wrong about it I don't know)

And, if someone answer my question about those alternative data, it is overall (more) fair to the authors of the study (versus me providing them with bullshit personal information of mine).

What do you think?

Well, it's like any market. They have something you want (the transportation data). You have something they want (your personal data). Neither side has any right to what the other has but the two sides can mutually agree to an trade.

Perhaps the bid and the offer are too far apart and no transactions will occur.

Involving other people, ie adding liquidity to the market place, may help closing the gap!

This looks like an interesting application

The etiology of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is unknown. This paper develops an etiological hypothesis by constructing a neural network with constraints from neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and behavior. The neural network ascribes roles to the brainstem's periaqueductal gray, the amygdala, and the anterior cingulate/ventromedial prefrontal cortex (ACC/vmPFC). Neural network simulations show how these brain structures might interact during BPD behavior. The simulations suggest that long term depression (LTD) in ACC/vmPFC may explain several BPD symptoms. The network makes testable suggestions. The current work is the first-ever neural network simulation of BPD.
