The brits need a trade deal from president trump when (if?) they leave the european superstate. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar as it were, and the brits may get a lesser deal because of khan

Sounds like a threat..
That's no way to run an economy. Trade with US is 80 bn, with EU it's 550 AFAIK.

Bonkers.
president trump is making the same offer to the brits that he made to the G7
ZERO tariffs. On both sides
Of course, he is only joking. Look at Bombardier threat he  made.
IMO it won't end well due to his volatile nature and arbitrary decisions.

Like the genie in the polished bottle ~~~~ here I am ~~~~. :)

Another scorching hot day, but some creatures know exactly what to do:

Two of my sister's dogs - no hesitation!
No Hesitation.jpeg
And a nice soundtrack to go with...
more of the same, outside at a big festival - she is so cute and the crowd is amazing.
Enjoy - I am hiding in a dark room with a tall pitcher of lemon ice water!

Beautiful place in your picture, and the dogs are great. I think there's a dog of this breed in my neighbourhood - very calm and kind-natured fellow.

I'm home alone with my cats :-( I can't sleep so I'm watching movies my husband doesn't like, mostly horrors. They are so boring that I'm browsing the web and listening to the musics at the same time not to fall asleep...

As dusk falls - lighting a few candles and have this on low.

I am mostly practicing silence these days (online and in life as much as possible), but still watching all of you from time to time.

Namaste.  :)

I was trying to train yoga and even found a nice studio right across the street. The problem was walking barefoot and rolling on the same floor as tens of people per day. When the instructor started to talk something about connecting with cosmos, I started to imagine the millions of microbes invading my body. I rolled up my mat and ran away, and never came back.

My solution for that (as I agree - no bare feet in the public yoga studio!).

These have little grippy ribber nubs on the soles so you don't slip when doing your Warrior poses.  :D

This is my favorite pair - I also have black with pink and white polka dots and other colorful configurations.

I was not ridiculed - the yoga ladies love my socks.  :)

I also have something for your scientific edification.

Vintage - I'd say circa 1952 or so.

If you know of Brian Eno's "Oblique Strategies" card deck for creative inspiration - the Baker Deck could be seen in a similar light.

(But what frequency? That is TBD!)

Here is one example.

I was quite interested in magnets when I was a child. (Well, I guess a lot of us curious types probably were.)

I kept a little collection of them in a box and liked to study how strong or weak the pull was, depending on their size and orientation.

It's weird that you really can feel the force as you experiment with the distance.
