He he. But maybe this is exactly what we need - imagine if these organisms that live (even thrive) in such extreme conditions have a property that would combat viruses of all kinds (with or without dangerous or bizarre side effects). Then the movie theme has a twist. The Abyss wasn't bad. There are a load of other terrible underwater movies (Leviathan, etc.) which are ridiculous wastes of time.
Fun fact: I watched Aliens vs. Predators at a movie theater in my college Dorf way back when.
There was a meme floating around about new species finds in Antarctica. The statement on the meme was "Given what's going on in the world, not now. We don't need this now." Hahahaha.
The A v. P series is actually pretty short - but looking at both franchises, there are enough movies for a mid-winter marathon.
Alien franchise (6 films)
Predator franchise (4 films, plus one not released yet)
Alien v. Predator (2 films)
Popcorn, a deep comfortable couch, and voila! Time spent/time wasted - still fun.
Fun fact: I have seen some of these movies several times, but I have not seen all of them, so it would be like a franchise seminar in film school.
