A rabbi, a priest, and a minister are discussing when life begins.
The priest says: “In our religion, life begins at conception.”
The minister says: “We disagree. We believe that life begins when the fetus is viable away from the mother’s womb.”
The rabbi responds: “You’re both wrong. In our religion, life begins when the kids graduate college and the dog dies.”

I would think that Paul should love Thatcher - shouldn't you? Isn't the Conservatives' current popularity in a (large?) part due to the privatisation and the give-away of council houses? She conceived a large class of affluent rightists (everybody votes with their wallet, the difference is they vote left if it's empty and right if it's fat). Just my half-baked theory.
