maximillian:

I would say make the investment in learning C++. You should have some knowledge of object oriented programming and C++ seems to be the standard for quant work. I learned from a book by Deitel and Deitel and it is very good for beginners to programming and also covers advanced topics.

Please tell me someone here knows what Deitel is and, if so, can use it in a coherent sentence like "die Wagons sind doch an der rechten Deitel-Spur!" :)  :P

I’m thinking I should object to its blue eyes.

Yes, it's the Norwegian-blue variant.

John Cleese is very popular, but the troupe as a whole is less well known. For a while they were probably best known for Life of Brian being totally banned by the government on religious grounds. If you casually make a reference to the Norwegian blue in a bar, you’re unlikely to be met with a chorus of “beautiful plumage!”

This was the first thing I ever posted on LinkedIn to get my hand slapped.
I don't understand why this qualifies as bullying/trolling

Monty Python's" "Bring out your dead!"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcbR1J_4ICg

At the very end of this scene...
"Who's that?"
"Must be a King"
"Why?"
"Cause he hasn't got shit all over him."
