Re: Good things that come out of this pandemic...

Buchanan told the Irish News “I’m someone who believes in creationism and that the world was spoken into existence in six days by His power,” adding that children had been “corrupted by the teaching of evolution”.

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. But, on the eighth day, He saw His work was incomplete, and created the coronavirus. Plus, it was a Monday, always a bad day. -- NNKJV.

oops -- wrong thread! (gallows humor?)

74. Life goes back to the 18th century when people never ventured more than 3 km from their village.

Well done! You found a Fox News story about the virus. These days they are mostly focused on the greatest crimes in the history of mankind, all carried out by Obama and the deep state against Trump.

I will amuse myself and consider how other media would headline this same story:

NY Times: "Republican lawmakers sue to kill Wisconsin's vulnerable".  :D

The NYT actually ran the story under three separate headlines:

“Wisconsin Supreme Court says Coronavirus shutdown is overreach”

”Wisconsin Supreme Court strikes down stay-at-home order”

”Wisconsin Supreme Court invalidates state’s Covid-19 stay-at-home order”

Well, no fun there. Here's a more local overreach lawsuit that interests me. You can probably guess which side I'm rooting for.

OK - I must admit that it seems a little arbitrary and capricious that the grooming of pets and employees in the entertainment industry are deemed essential (and thus legal), but that of ordinary people not. On a technical note, from "Nature of the Action - section 2", it is amusing that the licensed barbering and cosmetology professionals present "facial challenges" to Governor Newsome.

78. Moderna's news is good

mRNA [$]\rightarrow[$]  Moderna -- nice.
Let's hope "what is mRNA-1273?" one day becomes a Jeopardy answer!
