Yeah, also the reporting pattern changes when people are concerned about side effects. Too many factors come into play... For now, the virus is a far better killer than the vaccines. If I were to be vaccinated, I'd rather be afraid to visit the spot with other people than the vaccine itself (even if I tend to develop strong allergic reactions).
I'm suspicious about AZ story, though. Not so long ago it became the bone of disagreement between the EU and the UK, immediately after which the information about the apparent lack of clinical trials in the elderly started to appear in the news. The vaccine itself looks very similar to others in its design, at least to the layman's eye. All the popular vaccines deliver the virus DNA to the body cell (either enclosed in a "benign" virus or some sort of a protein shell), where it is expressed into the spike protein and stimulates the immune response - or something like that (-: Doesn't sound like there's anything specific about AZ to cause the reported blood cloths.
Enjoy the winter while it lasts!
We've had a heavy snowfall over the last two days. I think I shovelled at least a meter of snow from the porch, in three turns. I wish the white winter could last forever. I'm so super happy here! But hopefully the spring and the summer will be even more and more wonderful
