That was uncalled for. But, yes, it doesn't seem to have found its way into the cooking of many countries. I had to import it into the US from the UK. (Don't get me started on the availability of Haggis outside the UK.)

TV programme in which CEOs have to use their own products or services!

It could be software, websites, physical things. Such as the CEO of a scissor manufacturer who has to open that plastic packaging that can only be opened with...scissors. Or the dishwasher manufacturer that has to pull out his appliance, tilt it on its side while water pours out all over his shoes. Or a CEO having to wait on the phone for an hour to tell his own energy firm that his bill is wrong. And still they don't answer.

(You can probably figure out how I have occupied myself the last couple of days.)

I like it. Here's an episode: Bitcoin exchange CEO's have to pay all their bills and purchases (and lawyers!) for a month with Bitcoin.

I’ve mentioned this before, told me by someone who knows, but when James Dyson of vacuum cleaner fame is away from his estate the staff get out the Henry.

Who does the spoof interviews on US TV? There are many of them in the UK (half of them are Sasha Baron Cohen though).

They're not exactly "spoof" interviews, but Jordan Klepper does a series where he interviews typical Trumpist voters and usually steers them into some sort of logical inconsistency: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +the+pulse

I've just been targeted by tyreextinguishers.com! They don't like my car. (If they ever find out I have four cars, one of which does 8mpg...!)

They take the cap off, put a lentil in and screw the cap back down. The air slowly escapes, tyre goes flat.

Their website very helpfully explains how to remove the cap in the first place, lefty loosey, righty tighty. Clearly they are as thick as planks.

And, yes, they really use a lentil! A lentil! Sorry, kat, but a lentil! I think that says everything you need to know.

Anyway, brilliant idea...removing the caps will mean they have to crouch down while the tyre deflates. Which they probably won't do. But that's not ideal for the health of your valves. So how about a dummy valve? It looks like an ordinary valve, protects the real valve like the cap, but confuses the heck out of people of low IQ.

(The regular anti-theft dust caps often use standard hex/allen keys, too easy to remove. I did think maybe smearing some dog poo...readily available at the side of the road...on the cap would be a quick solution.)
