I am based in Houston myself and would like to touch base with some local quants."Not too many; most energy trading desks have a quant or two but that's about it... btw, the best meal i ever had was in Houston, a place called Fogo De Chao...

I'll probably be spending a couple of days in Houston in August. Any recommendations? BTW is Ponch roaming on the highways over there, I don't remember.
