I hate Gould with his haemorrhoid piano stool. Hammering the patterns of Webern's notes like a hand-cranked music box is the least harm he did to the piano music though. This is how it should go:
Anderszewski is such a perfectionist that when he played this piece during one competition, leading after the first round, he suddenly stopped in the middle and left the stage - because he though he wasn't playing well enough.

Soft and Slavonic. You may also play it romantic way like Pollini. I'll stick to the mathematical performance by Gould.

I'm addicted to Pollini's Chopin, but I think Webern should be juicy and powerful, like Anderszewski's. I know what I like and you know what you like.

This is already too much for me... Are The Netherlands so much into experimental art?

BTW, Diana Damrau will perform at The Proms this year. One of the pieces she will perform was composed especially for her.

Lol - I was missing the Netherlands, until you posted this! I only miss the raw herring with onions now - but back in NL next week for a few days!

Nice, if you're at some point in the vicinity of the Peace Palace -and time to spare- then it would be nice to grab a cup of coffee again!
