No surprise you are retweeting Sarah Abdallah, a (possibly real) pro-Assad and Putin activist.

Trump Arms Kurdish Allies After US Pulls Out of Syria
shades of the Reagan era: we may help with weapons, but people have to fight their own wars
Hereditary bondsmen! know ye not

rand paul did the rounds of the sunday talk shows
on one, he said, "This is exactly what he promised … I think people believe that we’ve been at war too long and too many places and that we do need to turn attention to problems we have at home.”
Amen to that, Senator Paul.
From another appearance,

Trump betrays his allies.
The concept of an ally is entirely alien to Trump. It's all transactional. On the other hand, he greatly admires Putin, MbS, Duterte, Erdogan and Xi for their ability to rule without stupid and annoying constraints like a constitution, a congress, or a judiciary that are not entirely under their control. But, he is working on it.

It is good fortune that Rand Paul represents a state with great caves, since living in one would appear to be his highest ambition.

Trump betrays his allies.
Our allies are fighting each other.
One of the issues in syria is that there are more than 2 sides
The kurds are our allies, but so is Turkey, a NATO member. Turkey regards our kurdish allies as terrorists.
I'm not sure what cuch's point is. Does he want us to defend our ally (the kurds) against Turkey? Or help our ally (Turkey) commit genocide against the kurds?

I'd like to see a kurdish homeland. There are kurds in Syria, Turkey, Iraq, and Iran

But that's something the kurds must do by themselves

Clear?

When President Trump took office, he was assured that the reason we sent troops into Syria in 2014 was to assist local Kurdish forces in destroying the Islamic State. He approved the continuation of this limited mission. This mission is now complete. The Islamic State no longer exists as a territorial entity.

Trump does not have European allies, aside from the obvious one. The US technically has European allies, but that may or may not actually be for real anymore.

peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none

How have we betrayed the European allies?
The alleged purpose of intervention in Syria was to destroy Islamic State.
Been there, done that, come home.
