listen to Higgs bosonthis is the sad place, where the science came to in XXI century. soon, we'll start talking to bosons, maybe they'll share wisdom of creation with us

Do you only trust your own eyes when it comes to physical phenomena? Should you trust your own eyes? Repeated experiments, of many different types, suggest that human eyes (and the brains behind them) are very easily deceived.

It's why we don't have any new antibiotics to combat the rising tide of multidrug resistant bacteria like staph, tuberculosis, and gonorrhea. What company in their right mind would spend a billion dollars to develop a product that only sells for two-weeks per patient for the couple of years of patent protection.

Not waves of electrons.no, all subatomic particles are waves, they have a wave length. electrons are waving like guitar strings, i'm sure you can make them sound like music to CERN's "scientists". here's the proof

The frequency is too low to expect a 2-5 year payback on a billion dollars in R&D costs.Peanut allergies have been proven using double-blind studies in addition to the much larger volume of less rigorous evidence (e.g., repeated hospitalizations after peanut exposure, skin tests, etc.). Estimates for incidence of peanut allergies is about 0.8 to 1.4% of the population and peanuts seem to cause about 2000 to 5000 cases of anaphylactic shock per year in the US.An event can be both very rare and very well established by rigorous and repeated experiments.

QuoteOriginally posted by: outrunHow does one establish peanut butter allergy double blind-ish? ...and with those low frequencies..You take someone suspected of having a peanut allergy and expose them to a powder, liquid, or skin-prick injection that may or may not have peanuts in it (and neither the patient nor the nurse/doctor/experimenter knows if it's peanut or no-nut) and see if they react. You also run the same test on a matched population of people who seem to have no problems eating peanuts.
