I guess the qualities of surprises are in the eyes of the beholder.
On bathrobes, I have several - one is a deep turquoise thick cotton terry - classic - good year-round. My favorite.
One is a fluffy pink terry - best in the cold weather and I look like cotton candy wrapped up in that. My cat's favorite.
One is a leopard print - very plush, but shorter than the others. It looks great hanging on the back of the bedroom door.
And there are others, tucked away in a trunk.
What does it have to do with Grammar?
A lot, I would say. On the Grammatology of Night and Morning Wear.
Everyone should have a few good bathrobes in his or her closet.
Very practical and good for philosophical deconstruction too.
