Save the weights only at the end of every epoch.
Shall one save (to file) only the weights of the model (as opposed e.g. to saving of other parameters/settings of the model, the model itself, etc...) ?  or save the weights at the unique frequency of every epoch, more specifically at the end of each epoch?
I mean is this sentence ambiguous for a native-English speaker?
The 2nd. (weights are calculated, then and only then save them).
However, it says nothing about the other parameters (read only?) , outside scope? If ambiguous, state that other parameters are/are not saved.

?? "Save only the weights and only at the end of every epoch."
They sought it with thimbles, they sought it with care; They pursued it with forks and hope; They threatened its life with a railway-share; They charmed it with smiles and soap.

Whatever the way she says it, you should never expect she actually shows up on a date, this will avoid you get your little heart broken. I mean it. I'm French.

Actually, this was the answer I was expecting.

Another notion Searle and Vanderveken use is that of an 'illocutionary negation'. The difference of such an 'illocutionary negation' to a 'propositional negation' can be explained by reference to the difference between "I do not promise to come" and "I promise not to come". The first is an illocutionary negation—the 'not' negates the promise. The second is a propositional negation. In the view of Searle and Vanderveken, illocutionary negations change the type of illocutionary act.

copy editing time ...

Q1: It also mandates the use of the serial comma (that is, "a, b, and c" instead of "a, b and c")
Q2; "we introduce the double sweep method". "we introduce the Double Sweep method".

Which options for Q1 and Q2?

// first time i ever heard of serial comma.

Matter of taste imho, like whether you prefer snakes or camels.
Most journals capitalise proper nouns. I personally don't like it. I still read more belles letres than technical writing to get used to such things :-)

I remember when I was in science I spent all nights polishing my manuscripts, grammar, idioms, collocations,... Now I read published articles and sometimes can't understand what the authors mean. Not to mention the content: abstract - big promises, introduction - some garbage filler with no epistemic value, results - bunch of pictures with superficial and confusing comments, summary - repeated sentences from previous parts.

Which is better?
 The book is structured in such a way that the material can be applied to a range of existing and new application areas.

They both sound like they were translated from a marketing blurb written in some other language. If I had to choose I’d go with the former.
