Defend yourself against the coming robot rebellion

AI fighter pilot wins in combat simulationOriginal report in Journal of Defence Management Quote ALPHA was assessed by Colonel (retired) Gene ?Geno?Lee. As a former United States Air Force Air Battle Manager, Genois a United States Air Force Fighter Weapon School graduate andAdversary Tactics (Aggressor) Instructor, and has controlled or flownin thousands of air-to-air intercepts as a Ground Control Interceptofficer, as a Mission Commander on AWACS, and in the cockpit ofmultiple fighter aircraft. ...When Geno took manual control of the blue aircraft againstthe reds controlled by the baseline controller AFRL had previouslybeen utilizing, he could easily defeat it. However, even after repeatedattempts against the more mature version of ALPHA, not only couldhe not score a kill against it, he was shot out of the air by the reds everytime after protracted engagements. He described ALPHA as ?the mostaggressive, responsive, dynamic and credible AI (he?s) seen-to-date.?

Just look at the skills of this table football robot.

Our only option for human survival is assimilation with the borg.

I watched Terminator 5 the other day and it was awful. One thing I thought was very outdated was that people were hiding behind stuf to outsmart drones and robots.

In the future, a swarm of these current-day autonomous sumo robot will probably kill you before you can even move. Any idea what's going on at 0:50? The guy has a very hard time lifting the robot from the floor. Is it maybe using an electromagnet to stick to the floor? And how can the robots have such a high acceleration?

It looks like they are not sensing emotions directly. Instead, the radio wave box detects small movements of the skin associated with heart rate and breathing patterns which are then interpreted as reflecting different emotional states. I'd expect a high error rates unless the system has collected sufficient baseline data for an individual to calibrate the resting heart rate and breathing patterns.

MIT did the same some time ago using WIFI signals in your home. I think I remember seeing sample code that you run on your laptop and which would detect heatbeats of people in the room. Very handy for a terminator to check if the room is 'cleared'.

A song generated by AI, The Beatles style,.. so we don't need those anymore either! Very closely captures all the boring elements, .. bit like The Wings

This music gives me pain. It's far bigger than actual The Beatles.

Get Ready for Freeways That Ban Human Drivers
“In city centers, you don’t even want non-automated vehicles; they would just ruin the whole point of why you have a smart city,” said Schondorf, a former engineer at Ford Motor Co. and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV. “It makes it a dumb city.”
WTF?
"smart city"????
I guess those pesky humans are ruining all those "smart cities"
