Whiteness is obviously a social construct, since none of us are even remotely white (with apologies to anybody around here with a serious pigmental challenge). To the extent that African-American studies is a legitimate subject (which you will obviously deny), it seems reasonable enough to hold up the mirror to study the experience of European-Americans. That the web site, with all of the credibility on educational matters of a Betsy DeVos, failed to obtain any quotes from Yale's English department is hardly surprising.

Rankine did not respond to multiple requests for comment from The College Fix.
The Fix also reached out to the chair of the English department, Langdon Hammer, and professor of English & African American studies Jacqueline Goldsby. Neither responded.
The point would be that black studies courses invariably presents black folks and their accomplishments in a positive light, yet white studies courses invariably present whitey as a cancer on the planet.

Skull and Bones warns students of pranks by impostor
Skull and Bones, the secret society at Yale University, is warning of an impostor who has called some students purporting to recruit them and then asking them to complete a humiliating challenge.
lmao

This is one of these areas where we violently disagree. I have a daughter with non-trivial mental health issues that are largely controlled via interactions with comfort rats, and your view of the world is a combination of pure anti-science and whatever Trumpian "fuck'em all, I want my money now, and my guns, too" attitude that fuels the base. This is probably not going to end well...

yale gave Bill Cosby an honorary doctorate of humane letters from Yale for his "contributions to society" in 2003,
They've now revoked it
Bill Cosby is  the first person in Yale history to have an honorary degree rescinded.
