One day his happy go lucky daughter goes for a trip to Moscow (what a brave girl!). She brings him a parcel "tainted" with a sufficient amount of lethal nerve agent to spread from their house and cause havoc in a small city. And the story happens in the Salisbury setting, with the military chemical-biological weapon factory on the horizon.
The version that they were targeted by Kremlin doesn't add up. Teresa May might be pulling the wrong tongues.
Did SS deliberately choose to live near Porton Down? Maybe it felt like Mother Russia, being near agents of death. Perhaps there are Russian spies in every village in the U.K. so it’s easiest to kill one near Porton Down. Or vice versa, every village has a pub, a church, a post office (well, not now) and a biological weapons facility. Or there are now so many Russians in the U.K. that any leak from Porton Down is going to kill a Russian, there being so few English left.
It does seem best to not take part in the World Cup. Russia only got it by exploiting corrupt FIFA. Not worth the risk. And besides, Russians are worse football hooligans than either the English or the Dutch.
