I prefer the Dead Kennedys’ rather more energetic cover of Rawhide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEPBEsqxgXI

Here they put it down live off the floor, the way real men do it. Takes a minute or so before they get going, mind you.

I do a version on the 'ukulele. I suppose I could take my shirt off, see if that gets a better reaction.

Date set for bank holiday to mark King's coronation

Seen from France, it seems the UK will soon have as many bank holidays as the US or other socialist countries

Well, as long as they promise to do it only once every seventy years, I can put up with it. Although that’s one more day that swap calendars get messed up by an unexpected holiday, since zombie LIBOR will still be hanging around.

I’ve only been once. To Nottingham. There was a murder. I was questioned by the police several times.

It was a conference. Everyone got interviewed. But they singled me out for multiple interviews.

The most boring speaker has been murdered? You had a good idea.
