a big thank you to the NZ government for doing this
Government announces plan for new restrictions on vaping, including ban at bars and restaurants
"Vaping is a significantly less harmful alternative to smoking and it has been used as an effective tool to quit smoking," Associate Health Minister Jenny Salesa said in a statement announcing the plan.
"However, it is not completely risk free and that’s why we need to make it as safe as possible and protect young people from taking it up," she added.
Some countries, and the UK is one of the offenders, have taken the opposite view and allow people to vape in all sorts of places were smoking is forbidden, evidently in the hope they will persuade people to vape instead of smoking.

Groping Auckland gym instructor sees prison sentence quashed on appeal
The Court of Appeal today quashed Keiron Moore's prison term of two years and three months in favour of 10 months' home detention.
(snip)
Instead his modus operandi was to direct or request vulnerable gym users to remove their clothes before measuring their breasts with a tape measure.

Yealands Wines fined $400,000 over record keeping breach, false statements
they were adding sugar to wine after fermentation to sweeten it. That's forbidden for wine sold in the EU, so they were falsifying records and selling it in the EU anyway,

I’m confused. Nobody got run over? A glitch in the matrix?
