Laurent got his degree from Eindhoven which is in the hi-tech semiconductor region (Philps, ASML).

Funny in the 60s no one knew computers' movies used tape units to impress the audience. People thought they were the computer.

Well, there are movies and then there are movies.
How about an underground computer comprising
8000 cubic miles:  Krell underground (1956)

Yes, arguably not a computer, but simply a machine.
Also, the film debut of Robbie from that Columbo.

Belgium’s diamonds lose shine amid Russia sanctions talk

https://www.politico.eu/article/belgium ... e=LinkedIn

The result is that Belgium — and its unyielding support of an industry long linked to autocrats, dictators and conflict zones — is once again in an uncomfortable spotlight. The EU has already sanctioned Russian gold and other luxury goods. And now those long pushing for diamond sanctions, including the Baltic states, Poland and the Netherlands, are trying to pounce.
