my friends think jeff foxworthy is funny so doubtless they won't be discussing either movie.but you make a good point; I'm still PO 'ed that my sister in law gave away sixth sense before I saw it years ago. Everyone but me seemed to get this magical introduction to what's-his-name and I totally missed out. I had no good movie conversations for weeks. Well that's not happening again, that's for damn sure

saw children of men, was brilliant, albeit raw. makes v for vandetta look like total crap.Michael caine was hilarious as the old hippy, provided much needed relief at various points...this one is tense, you must see it on the big screen

Alfonso Cuarón seems to be a good director, now I'll just have to wait until "Children of Men" arrives in Brazil.

From the standpoint of a 50 something well-educated east-coast American male, what most likely is "that great French movie trilogy" please?  Merci!

LOL! I fit that demographic description (except for the "east coast" part) but cannot name a single "French movie trilogy" great or otherwise.

But then maybe implicit in "well-educated" is the assumption that only liberal arts counts as eduction.
