It's "Under pressure" with Ziggy Stardust, one of my most beloved songs :-)Of course, Vanilla Ice is not a plagiarist, as he explained his song goes "tam-tam-tam-ta-ta-tam-tam ta-ta-tam-tam ta-ta-tam-tam", while the Queen's goes "tam-tam-tam-ta-ta-tam-tam tam-tam-tam-ta-ta-tam-tam".

For some reason, Queen's love of my Life video disappeared, but I found her her again!

"cargo cultish"?? The day of abusing logical fallacy terms?

I've loved Freddie since I learnt about his death (and preceding existance) from the afternoon news on the Ukrainian TV when I was ca 5-yo. They played a fragment of Under Pressure and it's become one of my favourite songs. And I started to love David Bowie after the watching 2000 Glastonbury in the summer of 2020 - my last summer in London, night after Leela's surgery, giving her oxygen from the Philips concentrator (the one I got in case I develop pneumonia post-Covid). David singing and the concentrator buzzing...

Maybe analogies between analogies, as Banach said. One can imagine that the ultimate mathematician is one who can see analogies between analogies.

That particular 21 minute show is, reasonably or not, widely considered the best live rock concert performance ever. I’ve no idea what the 60’s has to do with anything in this regard. Woodstock?
