Thanks Reza...thought u might like it. Was running out of gas trying to catch up with u in the "Best movie one-liners" thread...But I seem to have created the thread in a hurry. I missed out some of my favourites:1) Godfather (how could I miss?! must be something in my coffee!)2) LA Confidential, Maltese Falcon, Double Indemnity, Chinatown- the classics of noir.3) Usual Suspects (Keyser Soze is one of my favourite fictional characters!!)Notable mentions- Pi (cool independent movie abt a maverick mathematician trying to crack the secret code of stock movements. Only reference to a quant I have seen in a movie, btw) Requeim for a Dream (same director...very distrubing movie, but great!)

You can check out those Top 250 movies on imdb.com. Those were ranked by the registered users of the website. I reserve my judgement on the selection.

Nice work. I'm glad you read it. I'm in agreement with many of the others.Usual SuspectsAmerican BeautyClerksKoyaanisqatsi (to satisfy my minamalist cravings)Run Lola RunCinema ParidisoManhattan (just for the dialogue and overuse of "didactisism" in my city)Natural Born Killers (for therapy)I feel like David Lynch should be on the list, at the least because of my prior time investment in his work, but alas, he has lost me.

Requiem for a dream, not that it wasn't good, but it marked the demolition of the pure notions that I cultivated and harbored for Jennifer Connelley ever since her adolescent role (next to Bowie) in Labyrinth.
