If that is the beginning of the end, I wonder if this is the end of the end:  Guinness zero
(I had no idea this existed).

I have 2 300 litre Harp tanks in my back gardens for water supply from the clean mountain springs (w/o the mind-controlling toxins). Same water that goes into Harp. Nice drink for hot February days.
Unfortunately, Harp moved  from Dundalk to Belfast.

I prefer to make my own beer, and not let it go through industrial production filters to remove a few bacterias

"Asbestos filtering has in the past been used routinely in the alcoholic drinks industry to clear sediments and microorganisms from beer and other drinks prior to bottling"

" best beer asbestos should be added once a week at the rate of 8oz. per cwt. of pulp being washed …care must be taken not to add too much asbestos, otherwise clogging of the filter plates ensues. "

F. Idiots, criminals!

I'm reading in other sources that they stopped using the filters in the UK as the awareness of asbestos carcinogenicity grew, a.k.a. before 1970-80s, but they continued to use them in the US until then. Many underdeveloped countries (or developed in a different way, like China) still haven't introduced the ban and continue to use the filters. It's better not to buy beers from Asia in the supermarket, I guess. Or buy unfiltered? Anyway, time from the Bermondsey beer mile crawl!

Depends also where they tap the water to the beer, it is not always they use holy water even in brexit:

"About one-fifth of people in England and Wales drink water that has flowed through asbestos cement pipes, many of which were installed in the 1950s and 1960s. "

https://www.ft.com/content/98e80238-4fe ... 9ef1626294

often millions of asbestos fibers per liter (not from the source, but from the transportation system made by gov imbeciles, and not removed even after they understood the risk )

but back to the filtered beer

"He explained that it was common practice to take the “slops” (the beer that had splashed into a bucket below the hand pump used for serving draught beer in a typical British pub) at the end of the day, add a slurry of asbestos and then run them through a filter – he made a circular swishing gesture with his hand to show how this was done. The asbestos-filtered “slops” were then served to the (presumably unsuspecting) first customers into the pub the next day. The patient thought this practice was quite common at that time. It seems likely that this filtration technique, if widely used, would have given even greater exposure to people, principally men, drinking draught beer in British pubs during the time, perhaps decades, when this practice was used. Thus, although commercial use of asbestos filtering in alcoholic drinks was a common practice across many countries, the much cruder use of asbestos filtration in public houses might have given particularly high exposure to British beer drinkers."

I thought that was some gov sponsored "put in the drink thing" to reduce the pension plan expense?

I would suspect greed or negligence on the part of the private industry and scarcity of funds or resources on the gov's part.
Re beer, for similar reasons I baked bread at home. And don't buy tea in sachets...

I planned it for the weekend. I visited Nora Barnacle's house in Galway yesterday though. Empyreus love story! Do you know the date on which Ulisses story happens?
