good location for our future base?
Drill a well?
yes deep so it dont dry out in 2 month drought?
Very difficult to drill on mountain side! We use sub-surface in combination with gravity.
And your pump might break down or run out of STAT oil but gravitv works 24/7.

tomorrow the longest blood moon of this century, it will be bloody I think.

dont miss it! Anyway, it will not miss you! Yes, you too.  (also dont miss out on Mars: the July 27 alignment will be your best bet to see the red planet shine its biggest and brightest until 2035.) The blood moon, and the Red Planet....will be a spectacular evening!

We won’t get to see such a long totality again until June 9, 2123.

We NEVER mention his name here. It's a fairy tale written by an American lady.

The story of the dike-plugging boy is, however, not widely known in the Netherlands—it is a piece of American, rather than Dutch folklore.[

Scrawny dwarf planet, named Goblin, found well beyond Pluto

supposedly the orbit is evidence that "Planet X" is out there somewhere. Now we're down to 8 planets, they should change that to Planet IX

MIT Study Proposes Shooting High-Powered Laser Into Space To Attract Aliens
The research published recently in The Astrophysical Journal says the laser beacon could be “something of a planetary porch light” and find its way to possible life forms as far as 20,000 light years away.
20,000 light years away means the aliens would see the laser in 29,000 years?

‘Impossible’ EmDrive Will Ensure U.S. World Leadership

"Robert Shawyer, the British aerospace engineer credited with building the first EmDrive in 2001, revealed the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) quietly became involved with his revolutionary engine in 2008."

"The United States federal government's modest $1.3 million investment in developing EmDrive technologies is only the first in what is expected to be a long string of future investments. Together, these investments will ensure America's continued geopolitical dominance in the world by giving it an unassailable advantage in far advanced space travel propulsion systems against all comers, especially China."

I guess they understand some about value off deep otm options

Quantum 'compass' could allow navigation without relying on satellites

"Most navigation today relies on a global navigation satellite system (GNSS), such as GPS, which sends and receives signals from satellites orbiting the Earth. The quantum accelerometer is a self-contained system that does not rely on any external signals."

a non-quantum compass doesn't need a satellite either
