One Slip - Pink FloydI wouldn't qualify it as the greatest, but it's a solid piece of proper rock - good for your ears.

You young folks here have probably heard her before, but I just discovered Annie Clark today.

I think her music is rather good, brilliant actually. And yes, the sexiest guitarist alive.

I know Anne Clark, but that was from the depressing 80s, very different.

She looks a bit like The Matrix?

It's not the 80s, it's Croydon (google says she was born there).

Anne Clark, born 1960 Croydon indeed, the Anne Clark I posted a link to was born 1982 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shame she never got/gets to perform with Prince.

I'm melomaniacally pre-Cuchulainn, but living in London, I'm involuntarily exposed to some fresh music industry products. Annie Clark vel St. Vincent doesn't get through to me artistically - zero visceral reaction (and since I'm not sensitive to her physical appeal, I can be more objective). She has the skills as much as I can tell (her parents did her a favour paying for the guitar lessons), but her style is ridden with cliches like a regular white American middle-aged guy's cave with semi-automatic guns. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately, such unquestionable talents don't get enough attention these days:
