I am thinking of something adorable, like three fluffy yellow ducklings in an Easter basket. I do realize that is naïve in this situation.

Ah-ha. If there was a technical mishap, everything should be alright - the next full moon is on December 31.

I was going to ask what could explain the difference in effectiveness between various forms of caffeine, when caffeine is such a simple molecule. For example, I once drank a gallon of homemade iced tea and that worked great, and also I bought some awful organic energy drink at the gourmet market only because they don't sell cola, and that worked great, too. On the flip side, I can have like three espressos at the Italian cafe, five mountain dews, or a whole cup of Cuban candy shooter coffee, and immediately sleep for 10 hours.I considered the possibility that these organic brews have a portfolio of natural chemicals, which could explain the different effectiveness. But lately I have found that Rock Star Energy Drink is completely reliable. And it is not made from steeped leaves or anything. Could it really be that other crap in there? Ginseng? Taurine? But then I answered my own dumb question when a simple web search showed that Rock Star has 1.5 to 2 times the caffeine of Red Bull. Still it is only three times the caffeine of a cup of coffee. But maybe coffee has other problems in absorption into the body or something. Anyway, I decided 330mg of caffeine explained things well enough that I didn't need the wisdom of the forum to penetrate the mystery.
