"I’ve decided to sell my Hoover … well, it was just collecting dust." (Tim Vine).

When I was a kid "hoover" was a verb. Nowadays it is also a noun.

Arguably, "rong time, no see" would be worse. The theory seems to be that it is an early form of Chinglish and, as such, using it may be a combination of cultural appropriation and mocking of those not fully fluent in English. For the record, I don't have strong feelings on this particular matter.

Here is an example that is almost certainly, if not racist per se, at least in bad taste: Asiana 214 flight crew. But arguably very funny, despite the casualties.

I've been invited to an X-mas party (big party, cool people, symmetric distribution of age from 30 to 65). Will it be a faux pas and an affront to my partner if I go in this dress? (It's from some cheap online shop which pops up in google when you search "X-mas party dress+cats" :-D)

I think it looks suitable unless the party is very formal. Perhaps a small green accessory to complete the traditional X-mas color scheme? Of course, nowhere and never have I been much sought after for my fashion sense...

They will assume you have a great sense of humour. Don’t let them down.
