Seriously, fashion industry is unpredictable by design, nomen omen, needled by fashions and fads. Hardly anyone aims at technological advancements (maybe Stella McCartney makes indistinguishable fake fur and leather, or recycled ethical clothes, but the market of conscious customers is small). Needles won't get straighter and exploited Pakistani workers won't get cheaper, so there's not growth potential.
I once invested in Ted Baker though. I love the brand and I accidentally saw they were opening a boutique in 5th Eve in Nu Yolk.
In the photo in my Ted Baker uniform. I haven't bathed in a week and my jogging trainers are 5 years old with holes, but I still look elegant.
Oh, and boycott farmed salmon!
