I’ve always found chimney sweeps to be excellent value for money. Don’t forget to shake their hands, it’s lucky.

Angels with dirty faces? They tried a clean sweep but I washed my hands of the whole, project. Lack of transparency.

BTW bottom-up (from inside) or top-down (on roof)?

What has happened to the little holes you would put oil in?

Cuch, you remember the little holes, don’t you? Everyone else here is too young.

The only holes I remember were in Morris Minors. Used with these reeds soaked in petrol. And fired from a crossbow.

yes?

We used to live the everglades and there was a constant supply of reeds, petrol and cattle to hustle. The Rawhide era,

I remember small holes into which one put oil in sewing machines. (I'm younger, but from a different spacetime.)

Yeah, but that's not where you put the oil, I hope...

That sounds right. But they were everywhere. In things with "mechansisms." But nothing has "mechanisms" anymore.

No mechanisms, decency, courage, probity, innocence, honesty and true love anymore. I sometimes feel like a living fossil

I'm going to a "no-costume" Halloween party, where "no-costume" means that I am not allowed to dress up as a cat... Do you think my partner will be mad if I have something like this on my eye? (I am not allowed to discuss this matter with him anymore either.)

This is a clothing optional event? In which case, I think you'd be OK with the cat.

What's with Baltimore? Why does it get so many mentions in movies? It can't just be John Waters.
