Splendid isolation!
Here in NL, even if your are 24 with gf you are expected to stay at her parents' place 24,25 December. Junior went nuts. No drum kit there.

It's like birthday party on vallium.

Dutch people always sit in a circle at birthday parties. The circle keeps getting bigger, until you can only speak to the person on either side of you. No one knows why. It is one of life's great mysteries.

The order of things is as follows:

15:00-16:00 – coffee + one slice of cake
16:30 – cheese, sausage + sundry snacks are placed on the table (DO NOT TOUCH THESE UNTIL EVERYONE HAS A DRINK IN THEIR HAND AND HAS DRUNK A TOAST TO THE HOST, KLOOTZAK!)
17:00 – a beverage is served.
Talking about birthdays, Stroustrup is turning 69 today. Any design pattern suggestion for this special day?

The Visitor pattern (he chose multiple inheritance instead of multimethods all those years ago).

He did it because the AI people wanted MI...

Would you say that Pope Francis has ever punched more/less people in the audience than Axl Rose?

A Pope that can punch about his weight can't be all bad! Wasn't he a bouncer at a night club somewhere?

Picking on someone able to defend himself wouldn't be the worst thing the Church has ever done.

No nation has friends only interests.

Charles de Gaulle

Par exemple, see this rivetting book

What would be left of medium.com and its siblings if they were to delete useless articles?

The US used to have reasonably well defined allies. NATO, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Israel would be a list of important ones over most of the last 70 years, but definitely incomplete. Now, not so much. When the nation’s relationship with the rest of the world is entirely left up to the mood swings of one man eager to collect emoluments and easily riled up by Fox News, you never know. Next week, it may be North rather than South Korea.

Is this grading system ideal or real life?

Very wrong. I've never met anyone with my balance of efficiency, speed, focus, accuracy and relevance. I'm practically perfect in every way.

I know plenty of slow people (slow as in the opposite of fast) who are accurate. And many who are fast but either inaccurate or lacking relevance. The clever, quick, efficient but going in completely the wrong direction can be annoying!

If you have a wife and children where do you put your hat in the car? Wherever you put it it gets trampled on or thrown around. The glove compartment is too small. There should be a hat compartment. I need to get a Rolls.

To my astonishment, your problem is a thing. A quick search of “car hat rack” produces dozens of products for sale, all claiming to solve it. You can also get it bundled with a gun rack and a place to hang your spurs.

assume i need to describe something with an equations, for example the number of red apples on a tree

I could have RedApples=N
where N is the number of red apples.

or I could have RedApples=N*M^2/M*M

where M is the number of leaves on the tree and N is the number of red apples, in other words second equation contains unecessary information. Equation one is superior for the purpose as it contains less (in this case zero) unecessary junk information related to the problem.

What is an equation with minimum junk information called. Dose it has a special name in the field of mathematics?  just optimal equation, Occam's razor come to mind, information theory, but yes any standardized term used to describe equation that only contains what it needs to contain to describe the problem with minimum "memory"
