Do your own oil bubble !

So I 've stopped the game at 2040 :I have TOTALLY dried :-Texas (the very starting place)-Alaska (had to corrupt some environmentalists to drill there)-Venezuela (put in place a friendly dictator)-Nigeria (I corrupted the government and bought some mercenaries)BUT I didn't manage to put a hand on Iraq ! I had it under my control for 5 years and then there was an inssurection and I didn't manage to get in back. A bit sad because it was PLENTY of oil !It's strange that there aren't more countries like Canada, Russia, Afghanistan, Norway or offshore stations.

Early warnings and emerging accountability: Total’s responses to global warming, 1971–2021

• Archives, interviews used to trace Total's engagement with global warming since 1970s.
• Total or predecessors aware of harmful global warming impacts since at least 1971.
• Total engaged in overt denial of climate science in late 1980s, early 1990s.
• Various postures and strategies pursued by Total other than overt science denial.
• IPIECA played key role in coordinating international oil industry beginning in 1980s.

open secret indeed

I wonder which is more reliable:
  - predicting the climate, esp. the prob. of catastrophic scenarios
  - predicting the economic effect of climate change policies, esp. the prob. of catastrophic scenarios
Kind of like Covid vs. Lockdowns ..
