I would worry far less about the plane's steep descent from 33000 feet to 3000 feet, which sounds like standard operating procedure under the circumstances, than a cabin decompression event at 33000 feet. That's not healthy!

Cheques? how quaint. They still do them in USA and Ireland. And the banks take their cut and/or wait 3 months before paying out.
Here in EU we use e-banking!!! Cut out the middleman.

So, even worse.
You pay Rynair via e-pay so they can just reimburse you the same way. It's not rocket science.

Bad luck 'O' the Irish: Apostrophe in name could get you thrown off flights in ID mix-up

https://www.irishcentral.com/news/bill- ... -237668181

I just see it now: the software guys refusing ' to make their REGEX easier. keep them on  a short leash.

The problem there is that most computer systems don't recognize apostrophes which means it's Bad Luck O' The Irish for people with an O' in their name - like half the Irish population.

Anyone who hates apostrophes can't be all bad.

Man held after trying to chase plane at Dublin Airport

https://www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2018/09 ... n-airport/

At least, he can't be accused of hijacking.

"A male and female passenger were late for a Ryanair flight to Amsterdam this morning and arrived at the boarding gate after the flight had closed," the airport spokesperson said.

Ah, that explains it. Quant?

there's the old joke about someone being like a dog chasing a truck, he knows he wants to catch it but he's got no idea what he's going to do with it if he does catch it
Chasing a plane is even worse

You can ask him. It's not rocket science.

Speaking of
1. Last year we caught the plane to Reykavik with 2 minutes to spare.
2. The planes to Schipol can be heard from 3am every morning since the last few years. NL is full......

Mass tourism and mass consumerism  is ruining my sleeping pattern. The 60s were nicer, 707s, smoking on board, complimentary refreshamnents etc.

I think I've missed planes exactly twice, in both cases because my connecting flight (on the same airline as the leg I missed) was late.
I remember running half-way across O'Hare (inside the terminal, not on the runways, with at least one other person whom I'd never seen before but who had the same flight combination) to catch a flight to san diego when my flight from the east coast was late, only to find the plane still there but the door closed. And when I got to San Diego, I found out they'd managed to put my checked suitcase onto the flight I missed even though they wouldn't let me on it.
Second time, no running as the connecting flight was several hours late

Mind your language

https://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2018/1123/ ... ard-plane/

Don't talk about the Brown Bomber or Bomber Harris in-flight.

And no singin'!

Boom boom boom boom
I want you in my room
Let's spend the night together

From now until forever
Boom boom boom boom
I wanna go boom boom
Let's spend the night together
Together in my room
