You must live far up if it’s bright hele døgnet. I also notice snow and feel dumb for asking, but is there still snow there?

The goal is to write all three and four letter combinations and try to make sense of it.

I was joking. I'm actually one hour North from Oslo. Going to Alta to see the midnattsol sounds like a plan, though :)

It does sound like an absolutely lovely opportunity to take. Maybe if it’s here in Pinse?
Long weekend?

I guess it's better to wait until June/July: https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnattssol (the paragraph above the table). Brush up your physics knowledge on light dispersion before going there, if you want to impress your super-smart girlfriend ;-)

Haha, yeah. But I guess we might wait a year, she's stuck in UK. Der er bøde, hvis man forlader UK uden vigtig grund, såsom død eller bryllup

Had my "me" day yesterday. The most luxury spa in the area. Lavished me with all its elements. Spectacular views. Got some pampering: a mineral mud face mask and deep hydration therapy (6 hours)!
Seriously, I need a pro mountain bike.

Interesting thing I've learnt from a local today during a countryside walk. We encountered a black small snake sleeping by the road. It turns out that Scandinavian adders can be blackberry sometimes - an adaptation to better absorb light! Still part of the population preserves the lighter colouring, because it's less visible to predators. Short warm life or long and chilly?

Yeah, I grew up with these guys and can testify to a pretty wide range of colors. I am slightly confused by the blackberry reference, but will assume it involved autocomplete (which, self-referentially, my phone detected about midway through; unlike “self-referentially”, to which it objected vehemently). You would normally be able to make out a zigzag pattern, though.
