Wow - you made it! Unfortunately, it doesn't look like good weather for aurora watching, but at least the temperature is very reasonable.

Yesterday I went aurora hunting with an elderly couple I’ve met at the hotel - no luck :-/ (After we came back they brought waffle irons to the hotel lounge and she made waffles. Because her husband loves waffles. No kidding. A Norwegian-Slovenian couple. The whole lounge and the bar smelt with waffles.)

The weather is quite windy (they had a storm right before I arrived). I still managed to freeze out my fingers while taking photos from the Tromsobrua. Nice views.
IMHO, Tromsø is nice for a short visit including seasonal activities, but 2 days was definitely enough for me- especially with the B12 boost. Today I’m moving to another spot for whale watching, some organised aurora hunting and more skiing!

After ski then to end a perfect day, an evening of hardcore Harbanger fiddle music.

When you go to the loo and it stinks like husky's, it means you've been in the North for too long. Time to go :-)

Liquorice sweet returns to Norwegian shelves after legislative update

https://iegpolicy.agribusinessintelligence.informa.com/PL217067/Liquorice-sweet-returns-to-Norwegian-shelves-after-legislative-update

Since the 2012 EU tobacco convention raised the age limit for tobacco sales and products that reminded people of tobacco products to 18 years of age, stores were also ordered to hide the products in stores – including the popular “liquorice pipe” sweet in Norway. Now a recent update of this act means a reintroduction of liquorice pipes on store shelves.

EU rocks!

ahh this explain the mystery why the liquorice pipes where gone (hidden) for so long. Politicians brought us in the back door, even if the people voted no to EU. EU was afraid we would get Albertian inspired people here?

Pauli, Schrodinger, as well as the Chopenhagen school all where biting in pipes....who did not? and their pipe dreams came true!

The big question, can Norway make America Great Again? One of our best song talents, she won Norway got talent when 7 years old, she is now 13 and in the final of America's got talent (Norwegian music export is increasing, soon by passing the Sweds!)

Angelina can make America's music great again!

Memento mori, born to die (she will likely sing this song tonight, and likely win)
