What is this radio signal at 896 megahertz?

What is this radio signal at 896 megahertz?I tried to look up what would use that frequency, and all I found was a Motorola CLB station. What is a CLB station?There is also the possibility the clock is out of tune, and this signal is not really 896 megahertz. But it is spot-on at 896, which seems to be a center frequency for something. Does that indicate the clock is in tune? Or are radio band assignments, and tuning failures, narrower than the resolution of this image?What is some other common signal out there which, if present, would reveal the tuning of the clock?

Here for you frequency scanning list896.000 - 901.000 SMR/Business/Industry - mobile (12.5 kHz steps)It's typically the mobile phone band. Try to scan the LF to ULF band it should be interesting too

part of that frequency are used for cell phones and also "radiolocation"maybe CLB is a new name for CB (as in CB radio ?), no idea

CLB acronym research doesn't return useful results.or maybe here it stands for "Combat Logistics Battalion" (US Marine Corps), and Farmer would then be spying a military communcations ! :-)

During my thesis I had a similar problem, to identify a parasitic RF signal at 1 MHz. And it was pretty intense between 50 and 65 dB above the background noise. Any ideas would be welcome (this is not an AM radio signal and I think it's a bit too low frequency to be an airport radar).

1MHz is very low for Radar, unless it is some form of Over the Horizon stuff. Most Radar is the GHz range to get the resolution. Looks like it is medium wave radio to me. Why do you not think that it is AM?
