A bit OT
My grandpa spent a long summer holiday in Frongoch in 1916-1917. He liked it so much he wrote a diary which is in the National Museum.
The 1916 All Ireland GAA football final was played in Frongoch, Kerry v Louth, Grandpa played for Louth.

A more distasteful element of the razamataz is the presence of the mllitary at these sporting events.
A good recruitment ground.

French rugby is dying. Just like the Roman empire when they allowed foreign mercenaries into their armies.
