I can't understand the whole fuss and excitement about GMO and CRISPS. They've been there since antiquity:

The best CRISPS are from TAYTO especially when drinking HARP LAGER.

Salt 'n vinegar or cheese and onion?
Tesco are good (less fat), Lidl has more fat.

I avoid salt 'n vinegar; it brings on heartburn.

Thanks. A long time ago I had plans to import it, but now we have the Internet.

Is the Tayto vinegar Merlot based?

Not sure; I stick to cheese 'n onion. Mulligans has them.
In 1954, he set out with his company Tayto (the phonetic spelling of the way his child pronounced the word potato) to add seasoning to chips — and he revolutionized the world of fried potatoes.

"tato" is an eighteenth century word, see the etymology of tater tots
Etymology
"Tater" is an abbreviation of potato (origin: 1750–60; America; by apheresis, "tato", an alternate spelling of neutral vowel, "tater");

Perhaps we can use CRISPR to make salt'n vinegar CRISPs. Add in a few genes so that potatoes grow in high-salt soil and create acetic acid in their tubers and we'd have the perfect CRISPR CRISP.
