EURO 2012

June 9th, 2012, 5:20 am

Not a bad opening night! Two interesting matches, I was surprised at how well Russia played - but then again they do have a Dutch coach I'll bet on them as outsiders for the trophy.More importantly, tonight Holland is playing.. always a nerve-racking experience. Hope they play beautiful fluid total football this tournament, not Australian style football mixed with Kung-Fu.Who will lift the trophy? Probably our neighbour Deutschland, Champions of the EURO..

Quote You are afterall almost Dutch I still had some nice memories when The Boys in Green knocked Oranje out of the World Cup qualifiers "Wat zijn ze stil aan de overkant"The best Dutch team was 1974! Johhny Rep and Rensenbrink etc.And the best Dutch sportsperson all time was Willem Ruska.
