Just 15 minutes? Poor ISayMoo got stuck with me in London. He has to run 4 miles every day (with weights!) and eat grass, because that's the only thing I can cook (cocina vegana!). He's already lost 4 pounds.

running is a great option right now; helps with the cabin fever and you don't even need to don the social distancing donut

For people with social anxieties, it's the time of our life :-)
I have a feeling my camera is going to get broken. I don't see why people need to stare at my talking face during a business-related video chat - and I stare back at their expressionless faces wondering if they are already dead from corona or something...

Anyway, Fish & Ducks return to Venice as Canals water becomes Cleaner after Coronavirus lockdown

silver lining; with basically every human being on the internet right now binging on gillmore girls or somesuch, there won't be bandwidth for video chat much longer. My personal skype experience this morning in TX is what I imagine wireless radio to be in the 1930s

I envy you, The last time I ran (for a bus) was a long time ago :-)
In this period of inactivity I saw wood by hand (two trees in our garden died so I have a large supply). Remember the willow? The birch is gone as well..

dan I'm sure you're up to it, you're just being modest :) I do remember the willow in the lovely back garden. Was hoping we were stopping by nederland in the summer to show off the kiddo to the fam; I guess we're going to have to sail across the pond at this point

Food shortages? Pah! I like anchovies, liver and quince. Now I just need to find a recipe...

Try this ML baking generator - for starters - good for a laugh anyway.

Load in your standard baking ingredients and quantities and it will produce a recipe

https://easierbaking.com/cakey.php

Looking for other ML recipe generators a la Janelle Shane's work too.

This is fun too, but produces "serious" recipes, once you load in your ingredients.

I'm willing to barter crawfish and turqoise from the sante fe trail for something with vitamin C in it

I have a good supply of tangerines, lemons, and limes - just bought from large local farm stand.

Show me the turquoise!  (Amongst my tribe, that's even better than money!)

no luck with the stand but found something comparable. Sure beats trying to grocery shop and helps out good folks taking a hit with all the restaurant closures: https://plant-it-forward.org/

Fish were seen for the first time in generations in cleaner and clearer waters in Venice’s canals as tourism came to a halt.
