Upon further investigation it appears that a) the panties were clean, and b) she was not wearing them at the time. Under the circumstances, this seems like a bit of horse play blown slightly out of proportion. But, that's what the Post is for.

it's the first anniversary of last year's bike-path terror attack so NYC held a ceremony to mark the occasion

De Blasio forgets to honor terror attack victims at their memorial

he also forgot to tell relatives of the victims about it until the last minute.
The ceremony was on Wednesday and the article cites a mother who lost her son in the attack not being told until Tuesday afternoon

'Fearless Girl' statue is no longer staring down 'Bull'
we discussed there here a while ago
“Charging Bull” has been in lower Manhattan since 1989, and was sculpted by Arturo Di Modica, a Sicilian immigrant paying homage to the resiliency of the American economy following the stock market crash of 1987. According to Di Modico, the 11-foot-tall bull was meant to embody “strength, power and love”

Then in 2017, a statue of a young girl was placed in front of the charging bull, completely changing the context.
Subequent developments included a statue of a dog urinating on the girl.

Now both the bull and the girl are moving

as if halloween wasn't scary enough already
Six feared dead after truck driver mows down cyclists on bike path in lower Manhattan before being gunned down by police as he waved imitation firearms
reports of a middle-eastern man shouting "allahu akhbar"
looks like a  flat-bed truck from home depot and near the west side highway
this may have been a failure by the FBI who were too busy listening in on the president

for some reason, this reminds me of when Al Bundy has his car stolen
Hamptons Police Seek Thief Who Stole $42 Million from Parked Car
The Hamptons Police Department is on the hunt for a thief who stole cash and items worth a total of at least $42 million from a car parked in East Hampton this week. The treasure trove, pulled from the trunk, center console and floor of a relatively unassuming vintage Mercedes-Benz, included $8 million in cash and $2 million in Swiss bearer bonds, along with a antique Fabergé egg valued at at least $9.6 million, and an original Stradivarius violin worth $16 million.
I'm not even sure if this is real news or fake news.
Who drives round with a Stradivarius and a Fabergé egg in the trunk?
