I don't think that way about it. What about his family and friends?

Not a huge mea culpa here (this forum did not influence that course of events (well, extremely unlikely)), but still. Mass media and now social media have a role sometimes, especially for young people.

If you guys urged me to jump and I did, maybe I'd deserve it. Reap what you sow...

But what about my sister and Smokey? (my cat, for those who do not know).

Of course, I would not jump, I'd just post a song for you and make a pot of tea.  ; )
That's what they all say. It's 16.22 CET, where's me tea?
Never mind, I made it myself.

Yes, indeed - time for tea.
Check the requisite thread for the latest concoction. : )

In vino veritas.
Wine is very middle class. They sell it in the Concertgebouw. BTW what do you think of Dvorak. I wonder why he emigrated to USA..,

I think he just worked and created there for some time - and around the world, like many famous composers and conductors.

I don’t think this is first and foremost a Goldman story. This is just another stick in the CDS coffin. All derivatives markets are potentially problematic when activity there feeds back to the underlying assets, but the peculiarities of the CDS notions of credit event, deliverable obligations and auction based cash settlement have made them particularly susceptible to abuse. To the point where I think the market is broken beyond repair.

Goldman Cuts S&P 500 Year-End Target to 4,900 on Rate Outlook

The less optimistic outlook still implies 11% upside from current levels to fresh record highs, although the strategists cautioned that risks are skewed to the downside

Goldman Planning Another Round of Job Cuts Amid Chill in Banking

I would make sense they kick out the team of geniuses who said some month ago we where at the start of the next "possibly decade long commodity super cycle" if you ask me
