I don't know what is usual in the UK, US and Canada, but when I was in the Philippines for a short while, I was horrified to discover jingle bells starts in October or even in September!

I think the friendly Filipinos will go easy on the white powder now though. You don't want a Duterte bullet to kill Rudolf.

A local fancy-pants domestic frippery store is already decking the halls with fake pine-needle garland.  It's not even Thanksgiving yet.... it's not even Halloween yet!!!

Extrapolation suggests that it won't be long before the XMas decorations never come down.
How many more turkeys will Trump pardon coming Yuletide?

in the old days  I used to do a thanksgiving day road race (turkey trot) in downtown boston which was sponsored by Jordan Marsh department store, who used to unveil their christmas window display after the race was finished
