Alert Wilmotters may remember that we won the annual "Dutch Science Quiz" which includes a free tour of ESA's Space Expo for up to 35 people. After much data mining, high performance computing, and solving some stochastic differential opinions, we picked a prime date of May 17th, 2013 for the ESA Space Expo tour. And to start the festivities, we're also holding a Random Walkers event in Amsterdam the night before (on the 2^4). That night -- probably at the Gollem bar in central Amsterdam -- we'll break the ice, drink Kwak, go more Off Topic than usual. The following morning, the survivors will meet at Amsterdam Central Train Station (near a bar/restaurant called "1st class restaurant" at platform 1) and then sleep it off on the private tour bus departing at 9:30 AM. That bus will take us to Noordwijk where we'll tour ESA and then return us to Amsterdam. And to top off the event we'll hold a second Random Walker's event at the Mulligan's in Amsterdam on the night of the 17th.You could say it will be Wilmott.com's first Brownian Bridge event with a mid-point excursion into space. Who can say "no" to that? So far, Outrun, Cuchulainn, Exneratunrisk, Ultraviolet, and myself coming to Amsterdam. And if those fine folks aren't enough, we've also got maybes from Anthis, daveangel, Edouard, FrenchX, PowerPuff, rMax, Trackstar, and zerdna. Please come for the first RW night, come for the ESA tour, or come for the second RW night, but do come!P.S. Space is limited on the tour, so if you (and your guests) want to see the Space Expo, please let us know on this thread or by PM.
